A censor’s board of directors has granted “Din: The Day” the approval to begin production. The film, written by Iranian director Murtaza Otash Jamjam , and features Ananta Jalil along with his wife Afiea Nusrat Barsha, is set to be screened on the big screen on Eid-ul-Azha.
“We received the certificate from the censor board on Sunday,” Jalil said in an announcement. “Members of the censor board also praised the movie. Fans have been waiting for this movie for quite some time, and now their wait will finally come to an end. The film will be released during Eid-ul-Azha.”

At the time of the press conference, Ananta had mentioned that the budget for the film was about BDT100 crore. The film was shot in a variety of locations, like Bangladesh, Turkey, Afghanistan and Iran.
