2. BRAC University (BRACU)

BRAC University (BRACU) is a residential non-government university in Dhaka, Bangladesh. It was founded by Bangladeshi Social BRAC University (BRACU), was established under the 1992 private university act. Sir Fazle Hashed Abed founded BRACU in 2001 as an educational concern for the BRAC organization.

3. East West University (EWU)

East-West University Bangladesh, a private university located in Dhaka (Bangladesh) is the name of this university. It is one the oldest private universities of Bangladesh. East-West University was founded in 1996 as an independent non-profit institution. The East-West University permanent campus can be found in Aftabnagar Rampura, Dhaka near Bangladesh Television.

4. Independent University, Bangladesh (IUB)

Independent University, Bangladesh (IUB), is one of Bangladesh's oldest, most prestigious and best private universities. Its permanent campus is located in Bashundhara R/A, Dhaka, Bangladesh. Private University Act 1992 established the university in 1993. The Vice-Chancellor is Dr. M Omar Rahman.

7. Daffodil International University (DIU):

Daffodil International University, is an independent private school that is located within Dhanmondi, Dhaka, Bangladesh. It was founded on January 24, 2002, pursuant to the Private University Act, 1992. The university was founded in 2002 following the approval from the University Grants Commission (Bangladesh) as well as the Bangladesh Government's Ministry of Education. There are multiple campuses in Dhaka.

10.University of Asia Pacific (UAP)

University of Asia Pacific (UAP) was established in the year 1996 as a private college pursuant to the Private University Act 1992, with the intention of expanding the possibilities of higher learning in Bangladesh. The UAP curriculum was approved by the University Grants Commission of the Government of the People's Republic of Bangladesh.
